July 1, 2009 - The Blink Tank is pleased to announce that Oakland songwriter Cait La Dee has been signed to a co-publishing agreement between The Blink Tank and Brill Building/Kobalt Music Publishing. Cait joins fellow Oakland based songwriter, Gennessee Lewis, to the growing stable of writers being discovered and developed jointly by The Blink Tank and Brill Building.

June 22, 2009 – The Blink Tank is proud to announce that it has been engaged by Sable’s Foods, LLC to provide marketing and strategic business services to the company. Founded by veteran oncology nurse, Alicia “Sable” Sable-Hunt, RN, Sable’s Foods is developing products to address the unique food-related challenges of cancer patients and for everyone in search of Nutritional Empowerment ™.

The Blink Tank will provide guidance and make recommendations to Sable’s Foods on how best to define and expand the brand, improve conversion rates and sales through its website, www.sablesfoods.com, and define and implement an e-Marketing and Social Media strategy.

May 21, 2009 - The Blink Tank is pleased to announce that Oakland songwriter Gennessee Lewis, recently signed to a co-publishing agreement between The Blink Tank and Brill Building, has already scored the #15 Billboard Album debut with his song called 'Lemon Drop', co-written with Paul Wall! Congrats Gennessee!!!

- The Blink Tank has successfully brokered a music co-publishing agreement with Brill Building Music Publishing, part of Kobalt Music Publishing, to discover and develop emergent songwriters and bring them to the national stage. Brill Building is led by Benjamin Groff, VP of Kobalt, who has garnered tremendous success with many A-list artists, including Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stafani, Kid Rock, Moby, Ok Go and many more. The first songwriter signed to the co-publishing agreement is Oakland California songwriter Gennessee Lewis.

February 23rd, 2009 - The Blink Tank is proud to announce the launch of Mission AdWorks, which has been incubating within the Blink Tank since 2008. Mission AdWorks is the nation’s first socially responsible advertising network, which connects publishers, bloggers and site owners who are making a positive impact on the world, with marketers who are looking for an engaging audience and consumer who share their values. Mission AdWorks has partnered with CPM Advisors, a technology company that manages, optimizes and enhances advertising campaigns for online advertisers, and Chapter Three, an open-source web design and development firm with an interest in social change, to harness their expertise to create a robust value proposition for both advertisers and publishers alike. In its first week, Mission AdWorks was featured on Yahoo! Finance and CNET.



February, 2009 – The Blink Tank is honored to work with School Time Music in order to provide business development opportunities for the educational children’s brand The Alphabet Rockers. Founded by Kaitlin McGaw, a musician and Harvard grad, and Dawn Richardson, drummer for legendary rock band 4 Non Blondes, the Alphabet Rockers have been building a buzz among children from coast to coast with their entertaining and educational songs and live show. Alphabet Rockers has both a Parent's Choice Award and recently received honors from the National Parenting Publications Awards. The Blink Tank is eager to help grow the Alphabet Rockers into a household name.


January, 2009 - The Blink Tank is proud to welcome Michael Clauss to the team. Michael has a varied background in many industries as well has been a serial entrepreneur for a couple of decades. He has consulted for many Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft and Sprint as well as been employed by MCI and Amazon.com in coveted marketing and management roles. Michael said, "I'm very excited to work together with such a great team and portfolio in the tank. I look forward to many years of profitable business".

January, 2009 -Did we mention that Blink Tank partner, Andrew Hoppin was named Chief Information Officer at the New York State Senate. He's too modest to mention it, even to us...And that is on top of ALSO being a rocket scientist for NASA. Some guys get all the brains!





May, 2008 - The Blink Tank assisted the Craigslist Foundation in developing the online development and marketing strategy for their new online community for non-profit resources, including gathering feedback from prospective users and reviewing design briefs.


July, 2007 - The Blink Tank brought the dynamic urban-skate festival the Hood Games to  2007’s LA Stars Celebrity Weekend at the request of basketball star, Baron Davis (LA Clippers) and producer QD3 (Quincy Jones III).  The Hood Games was founded by Keith “K-Dub” Williams, and is a youth-driven urban cultural festival featuring skateboarding, music, dance, fashion and art. Celebrity skaters Stevie Williams (DGK) and Karl Watson (Organica) both attended the event along with hundreds of youth who traveled from across California to take part in the event.
